Arsenal remain the only unbeaten team with a 100% record after a professional 2-0 win at Sunderland. Bruno Guimarรฃes scored his first goal for the club before Bukayo Saka converted a late penalty. The champions now sit top with 12 points from four games.

Elsewhere it was a difficult afternoon for home sides. Liverpool were held 0-0 by Fulham at Anfield, Chelsea needed a second-half equaliser to draw 2-2 with unbeaten Hull City, and Aston Villa lost 2-1 at home to Nottingham Forest thanks to a late Igor Jesus winner.

Ipswich produced the result of the day, beating 10-man Crystal Palace 3-2 with a 90th-minute winner from Zian Flemming. Bournemouth and Brentford shared a 2-2 draw, while Tottenham remain the only Premier League side yet to score after another 0-0, this time against Everton.

Hull Cityโ€™s impressive start continues as they sit third, while several expected title challengers dropped points.

The table is already looking interesting heading into Sundayโ€™s Manchester derby.
